As of June 1, Kimbrough no longer accepts new TRICARE Plus enrollments. Current TRICARE Plus patients remain unchanged. Change also applies to patients aging into the program who were previously enrolled in TRICARE Prime at KACC. Beneficiaries impacted by this update are encouraged to consider Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Andrews or Bolling Air Force Base clinics for their primary and specialty care. Prevent pediatric vehicular heatstroke death
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in the last 25 years, over 1000 children have succumbed to heatstroke in motor vehicles. Most pediatric vehicular heatstroke (PVH) deaths occur in the months of May to September with unfortunate spikes in July and August.
