Joint Incentive Fund expands optometry services to VA patients

FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, Md. — After more than 18 months of coordination between the Department of Defense and the Veterans Administration, Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center welcomed the first patient Feb. 15 under a Joint Incentive Fund optometry program.

An Enduring Legacy of Quality Care & Service: KACC Celebrates 60 Years

FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, Md. — Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center staff, interagency and state leaders celebrated the 60th Anniversary of the medical facility during a ceremony–adjusted to meet COVID-19 restrictions–held at Kimbrough’s main entrance, Sept. 14, 2021.

Five Soldiers completed the five-day Delayed Evacuation Casualty Management (DECM) course and learned critical care concepts preparing them to stabilize and sustain a casualty in an extended-care scenario before casualty evacuation.

FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, Md. — Kimbrough continues to administer the vaccine to the Fort Meade community in a phased approach based off of the DoD vaccination schema and CDC guidance.    Due to the limited availability of vaccine at this time, priority is given to our critical national capabilities on the installation.  We will announce when we are able to provide the vaccine to the 75 years and older population as the supply  becomes more available.
