Health Coaching

This service includes one on one time to talk with our Health Educators! We will be your best friends in the process of your healthy lifestyle changes or maintenance.  General health assessments and/or risk stratification tools such as the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) risk stratification guidelines are also used.

Fitness Testing and Exercise Prescription

Through exercise testing focusing on VO2 MAX, flexibility, back strength and grip strength, this core program establishes a baseline for clients' physical fitness and prescribes a program of exercise to increase levels of physical fitness based on clients' health/fitness goals.

Healthy Nutrition

This core program uses metabolic testing to determine an individual’s resting metabolic rate and develop tailored strategies for weight loss, gain or maintenance. Calorie budgeting is important for these goals. Upping Your Metabolism class is required before metabolic testing.

Stress Management

The primary goal of this core program is to identify clients’ stress levels. Stress management services include biofeedback and education in stress relief techniques, positive coping skills and detecting cognitive distortions. Stress Management class is required before biofeedback testing.

Health and Wellness Education Class

The main goal of this core program is to increase clients’ positive health behaviors through education. Education topics include healthy lifestyles, increased resiliency, preventing chronic disease through healthy living habits and self-care.

Tobacco Education

This core program includes an assessment of an individual's tobacco status, their readiness to change, a discussion of possible options for becoming tobacco-free, and appropriate referral to tobacco cessation resources.
