Services Offered

We’re pleased to provide pharmacy services to all our patients. If you have a prescription from a TRICARE network or nonnetwork doctor, you may fill it here, as long as it’s available on our Basic Core Formulary.
  • The pharmacy will validate beneficiary eligibility for all prescriptions written by external providers prior to filling the prescription. Refills for special order items should be called in at least three (3) business days to allow sufficient time for processing.

  • Forms are available at the pharmacy which allow an individual to designate another person to pick up their prescription. This form must be completed by the patient prior to picking up the prescription to ensure HIPAA compliance.

  • Prescriptions for Kirk non-formulary medications written by a civilian provider must use the mail order pharmacy or a TRICARE network pharmacy.

  • Please drop off new prescriptions written by outside providers by 4:30 p.m.

Other Pharmacy Options

As a TRICARE beneficiary, you have other pharmacy options:
You can use the TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery to have prescriptions sent to your home. This is the least expensive way to fill prescriptions after filling it here.
If you need a prescription filled after hours or when traveling, use a TRICARE network pharmacy.

Prescription Costs

While there is no costs for prescriptions here at Kimbrough, there are costs for filling prescriptions via home delivery or at network pharmacies for all non-active duty beneficiaries. Active duty service members have a $0 copayment for covered drugs at any pharmacy.

TRICARE Formulary

The TRICARE Formulary is a list of generic and brand-name prescription drugs covered by TRICARE.  Use the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool to look-up your drug. A search can tell you:

  • Formulary status (generic drug, brand-name drug, non-formulary drug, non-covered drug)
  • Where the prescription can be filled
  • Copayments and limitations, such as prior authorization
  • Coverage review requirements and forms
  • Alternative medications, including costs

To start your search, you’ll need to put in the brand name or generic name of the drug and then select the strength prescribed, as well as your gender and age.
