Radiology
The Radiology Department provides diagnostic radiographic services to all eligible Active Duty military, retirees, family members and DOD civilian employees. All radiographic procedures of the head, trunk and extremities are performed. All other procedures can be scheduled at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) and Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center (KACC) with assistance from our staff.

Do I need an appointment for a routine radiographic procedure?
No. Just arrive 30 minutes prior to 4:30 p.m.
Are radiation protective devices available for shielding of patients?
Yes. They are routinely used, when shielding does not interfere with the area in question.
Are pediatric restraining devices available?
Yes. Routinely used for children 2 years and under.
Are pregnancy questions asked, before radiographic procedures are performed?
Yes. Pregnancy questionnaires are completed by all females between the ages of 12 and 55 years old.
